MS. ERIN GREGOIRE
Elementary Educator

ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and grew up in a family of teachers. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy. After spending time working in a clean water nonprofit, I found my way back to U of M to complete a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I love anything outdoors, playing ice hockey, gardening, and spending time with family (especially my two nieces).
AS AN EDUCATOR
I believe that as an educator, it is crucial to build genuine relationships with each student. Taking the time to build strong relationships allows me to better understand my students as people within and outside the classroom. Whether it be attending one of their performances or playing basketball with them at recess, I feel making connections to their lives outside the classroom helps shape my practice to create a safe and encouraging environment where all students are able to do their best learning.
